Preseason MAC Commonwealth favorite Hood College cut a 12-point lead for Lycoming down to a single-point twice in the final six seconds, but a pair of free throws from junior Darius Dangerfield and a defensive awareness that didn’t allow Hood to take a shot at a tying field goal helped Lycoming come away with a 67-66 win.

Lutz finished with nine points and 12 rebounds and senior Morgan Mader added nine points, five rebounds and two steals.
