Warrior Run defeated Greenwood, 54-18, in girls basketball. Jordan Hartman led the Defenders with 13 points and Sydney Hoffman added 11.
Athens defeated Williamson, 62-23, as Kayleigh Miller (20 points) and Caydence Macik (21) combined for 41 points. Williamson was led by Lateisha Peterson’s 11 and Taylor Rae Jones’s 10.
Molly Ward had a near double-double as she scored eight points and led Canton with 16 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough as Troy defeated the Warriors, 37-16.
Towanda cruised past Cowanesque Valley, 55-19. Cowanesque was led by Renee Abbot and Abby Ackley, who both scored eight. Erin Barrett scored 18 for Towanda.
Jaclyn Nelson scored 15 points and Eva Rice added 14 as North Penn-Liberty defeated Wyalusing, 55-43. The Mounties also received 11 from Kiersten Mitstifer.
• In high school wrestling, Milton defeated Lewisburg, 42-24. Lewisburg’s Jase Gessner pinned Ryan Bickhart in 24 seconds at 120 pounds. At 138, Milton’s Timothy Walter pinned Daniel Leao in 25 seconds.
Warrior Run beat Hughesville, 66-12. Hughesville’s Caiden Puderbach won by fall at 138 in 1:13. Warrior Run’s Landan Kurtz pinned Reese Moon in 3:45 at 145.
