Congratulations go out to Rebecka Zondory who bowled her first career 700 series last week. Her 704 series in the Inter-community League took female high honors, as did her 279 game. In that same league, DeWayne Harris had a 789 series to lead the men, and Brad Pepperman rolled his third 300 game of the season to beat out Alex Crist's 299 in Faxon Classic for best male game of the week.

This week, we remember 1991 local Hall of Fame Inductee, Bea Kessler. At the age of 27, in 1947, she started to bowl in sanctioned leagues because it was something she could do with her husband after he returned from the service. With a career high series of 633, Kessler belonged to the 600 club. She averaged as high as 178, and had a career-high game of 255. She served as Association Secretary and Sgt. at Arms during her time on the WWBA Board of Directors. She was a bowling instructor, and Jr. Bowlers Board member at Faxon Lanes.
