Lycoming cross country, wrestling incoming classes announced
Montgomery grad Kennedy Marsh will be joining the Lycoming cross country team as the Warriors announced their incoming class. The former Red Raider was a District 4 champion with a time of 21:17.00 and was a three-year letterwiner. She also competedin track and field.
Also joining Lycoming is Boiling Springs’ Katryn Yocum, a state champion in track and field. She was a three-year letterwinner in cross country and track and field.
• Lycoming’s wrestling program announced its incoming class, paced by five state qualifiers, two state placewinners and three 100-match winners.
Among the class includes locals Logan Bartlett (Lewisburg, 157 pounds) and Kaden Majcher (Warrior Run, 125).
The program will also get Landing, New Jersey’s Thomas Conselyea (133), Laurel, Delaware’s Jacob Davis, Ocean View, New Jersey’s Joey Garcia (184), Bald Eagle Area’s Cooper Gilham (141), Succasunna, New Jersey’s Matt Knapp (184/197), Falconer, New York’s Brayden Newman (125), Denville, New Jersey’s Shane Perry (141/149) and Fort Cherry’s Robbie West (285).
The wrestling program enters 2021-22 needing just seven wins to become the fifth program in NCAA Division III history to claim 800 dual-meet victories. The team has enjoyed 27 winning seasons under Roger Crebs.
• Former Lock Haven University lacrosse standout Jessica Pandolf was named Fairleigh Dickinson’s coach. She becomes the Division I program’s first coach.
She ended her career with the Bald Eagles as a three-time Division II Midfielder of the Year
