Golf tip of the week: Push the elbows, knees toward each other
Trending
A good way to improve your ball striking is to push the elbows and knees toward each other. The elbows should remain the same distance apart throughout the swing, the elbows aids in maintaining the swing plane arc.
When the elbows separate, the golf shaft will get too flat or too steep. The biceps should stay connected to the upper ribcage, keeping the core activated throughout the swing.
Imagine you placed a large rubber band around your knees, keeping them from separating. Push the knees toward each other enough to feel pressure on the insteps of your feet. This creates balance and induces leg action during the swing, much like skiing.
Don't forget to enjoy this great game called golf.
