First-year libero Ali Koval, a North Penn-Mansfield graduate, and junior middle hitter Elizabeth Kelson earned the first all-conference honors of their careers for the Lycoming College volleyball team
Koval, who received two MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week awards during the season, finished her first season as a Warrior fourth in Division III and second in school history with an average of 6.15 assists per set. Koval's 480 digs in 78 sets are 12th in program history and the libero led the conference by a wide margin in the category.
• Samuel Hershey and Chase Tackett were named the PSAC Eastern Division Athlete and Defensive Athlete of the Week as the Bald Eagles picked up two more wins and finished out the regular season in style thanks to their strong individual performances.
For Hershey it marks his second athlete of the week nod. Tackett's award is his first on the season, and for the Bald Eagles it marks the ninth and 10th time an LHU player has been recognized by the PSAC.
• In the PIAA Class AA girls cross country championships, South Williamsport's Charlotte Barkley was accidentally omitted from the area finishers. Barkley placed 142nd in the race with a time of 23:26.50.
