RALPH WILSON/Sun-Gazette Correspondent South Williamsport’s Piper MInier, shown competing against Benton in the District 4 Class A semifinals this year, was named all-state at forward from the Mid-Penn Conference.

South Williamsport’s Piper Minier earned the top honor in girls soccer in the Mid-Penn Conference by being named the league’s all-state selection.

Minier was one of three of South Williamsport players to earn Mid-Penn honors. She was joined as a forward selection with Claudia Green (defender) and Olivia Casella (honorable mention).

Muncy coach Jason Gresh was named Coach of the Year.

Muncy’s Emilie Nagel (forward), Avery Bigelow (midfield), Hailey Ohl (defender) and Mia Edkin (honorable mention) earned honors. Sullivan County’s Chloe Burke earned honors as a midfielder and teammate Kaelyn Wettlaufer was an honorable mention selection.

Montgomery’s Natalie St. James garnered honorable mention honors as well.

On the boys side, Chris Vanaskie was named Coach of the Year for the Mid-Penn. South’s Hayden Swinehart (Forward), Kayvan Shams (midfield), Ben Manning (midfield), Logan Ogden (defender) and Brock Weaver (honorable mention) were also named to the all-star team.

Muncy’s Bode Hart was named a forward and teammate Rowan Revata was a midfielder. Muncy goalie Eli Slamka also earned honors, as did Logan Ohl (honorable mention). Sullivan County’s Trey Higley was named a defender and Sullivan’s Bryan Fitzgerald was named to the honorable mention team. Montgomery’s Owen Sherman was also an honorable mention all-star selection
