Start time: 2 p.m.
TV: Big Ten Network
Radio: ROCKY-FM (104.9) with Steve Jones and Jack Ham.
Return of old friend: The Blue-White Game has not been staged for in-person fans since 2019 due to the pandemic.
Admission: Free.
Parking: Free to season ticket holders who renewed for 2022. For all others, it's $20.
Format: In part due to a limited number of available offensive linemen, the format will be offense vs. defense. The offense will be on one sideline and the defense the other. There will be live periods and no-tackling periods as well to guard against injuries.
Scoring: James Franklin is considering an alternative scoring format, but didn't confirm specifics earlier this week.
Eye on the QBs: Sean Clifford is unlikely to play much so keep an eye on the younger prospects, including Christian Veilleux, who threw three touchdowns against Rutgers last year, and true freshmen Drew Allar and Beau Pribula. For some reason, Veilleux and Pribula are both wearing No. 9.
Player to watch: Wide receiver Mitchell Tinsley, a transfer from Western Kentucky is the leading candidate to replace Jahan Dotson. Like Dotson, he wears No. 5.
Quotable: Returning safety Ji'Ayir Brown on top recruit Allar: "His arm is crazy. He can throw from the right side of field way back to the left side of field, accurately and efficiently."
No PJ: Defensive tackle and team leader P.J. Mustipher, who suffered a season-ending knee injury at Iowa, is recovering from surgery but will not play today.
Day for the walk-ons: This game has almost always provided the walk-ons an opportunity to play in front of a big crowd. Expect to see them early and often.
Weather report: Per AccuWeather, windy with a high temperature of 62 and a 55% chance of rain in the morning and early afternoon.
