Crosscutters take middle road game, 11-3 over Mahoning Valley

The Williamsport Crosscutters won their middle game in a three-game series on the road at Mahoning Valley, 11-3 to clinch a series win.

The Crosscutters scored 11 runs on 11 hits. Center fielder Logan Flood went 2 for 4 with two RBIs. Left fielder Matthew Etzel was2 for 5 with four RBIs.

Williamsport scored four runs in the top of the third inning and plated three runs in the top of the fifth. The Crosscutters held a six-run lead after the fifth inning.

Seven pitchers combined for five hits and nine strikeouts. Creed Watkins earned the win on the mound.
