Local bowling team takes 2nd at PA State USBC Women’s Championship

In bowling news, Mr. Sticky's team, which is comprised of Brandy Hess, Bethany McDonald, Rachel Metzger and Laura Harrison, took second out of 281 teams in the handicap event of the PA State USBC Women's Championship Tournament.
The tournament was held in late May at Jordan Lanes in Allentown. During the regular season, Mr. Sticky's team bowls on the Wednesday Night Ladies league at Faxon Lanes in Williamsport.
At the PA State USBC Women's Championship Tournament, Mr. Sticky's had a score of 2,876, behind only Betty Boop's team of 2,930 from Butler Area USBC. The winning team won $1,500. Mr. Sticky's won $750 for coming in second.
