Golf tip of the week: Keep knees toward each other for balance
Maintaining balance is one of the crucial elements in the golf swing. To improve balance, push the knees toward each other as if you had a basketball between your knees. It is very similar to standing on skis or preparing to lift a weight.
If done correctly, you should feel pressure on the insides of your feet.
Maintaining slight pressure on the insides of the feet will also create more power and aid in utilizing the legs, improving accuracy.
Please keep it simple. A good setup can be compared to setting up to the foul line when shooting a free throw. The body squares up to the basket. In golf, the body squares up to the target line.
Don’t forget to enjoy this great game called golf.
