• After scoring a career-high three touchdowns to lead the Mansfield University sprint football team to a 42-14 victory over Cornell University on Friday, freshman Audie McAree was named Collegiate Sprint Football League Rookie of the Week, announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

McAree found pay dirt twice on the ground and once through the air to power the Mountaineers' offense, which has gone over 40 points in its last two outings. The Texan rushed for a career-high 47 yards and hauled in a 17-yard touchdown reception. McAree gained an impressive 6.7 yards per rush.

Sheetz notched her second-straight Offensive Player of the Week nod as she helped propel her team to a 1-1-0 week. The junior scored two goals in a critical win over St. Mary’s College of Maryland over the weekend, including the goal that would go down as the eventual game-winner.

Bucknell senior Abby Gearhart and freshman Henna Andican have been honored by the Patriot League as the Midfielder of the Week and Rookie of the Week, respectively, for the second week in a row.

The accolades come on the heels of Bucknell's wild 5-1 win over Holy Cross on Saturday, in which both Gearhart and Andican had a hand in three of the goals. It was a 1-1 game in the second half when the Bison exploded for four goals in a span of 10 minutes. Gearhart scored two of those goals and assisted on another, and Andican had two assists in that flurry after scoring Bucknell's first goal in the final seconds of the first half.
