ELMIRA, N.Y. - Penn College fell to Elmira College, 103-90, in a nonconference men’s basketball game Monday. The Wildcats fell to 4-6, while the Eagles improved 4-6.
After Ahmir Ellzy gave Penn College its only lead, 13-12, with 14:57 left in the first half Elmira quickly regained the lead and eventually headed into the break ahead, 41-34. The Eagles held a double-digit lead the majority of the second half.
Livingston Cross picked up his fourth double-double this season, with a team-high 31 points and 13 rebounds. Max Jackowsky also picked up a double-double with 16 points, and 12 boards, while Gavin Barrett netted 18 points and a game-high nine assists.
Tyler Cardello had 36 points for Elmira while Riley Spencer scored 15, Owen Evans scored 13 and Marc Anthony Artuz added 11.
Penn College returns to action Wednesday, 5 p.m., hosting King’s College.
