Senior Gable Crebs, a Montoursville graduate, became the ninth Lycoming College wrestler to reach 100 career wins, pacing a group of seven grapplers that earned bonus-points, as Lycoming posted a 38-9 win over Penn College at the Williamsport Community Arts Center on Saturday.
Crebs improved to 100-27 in his career with a 15-0 technical fall of Gabriel Kennedy-Citeroni at 197 pounds, his 15th career technical fall to go with 45 pins, 18 major decisions, 16 decisions and six wins by default.
The Warriors (11-2 overall) notched three technical falls and two pins in the win, with junior Kaden Majcher, a Warrior Run graduate, notching a 17-0 win at 125 and sophomore Eli Crum adding a 15-0 win at 174. Sophomore 184-pounder Jimmy Ellis and junior heavyweight Robbie West providing pins, with Ellis getting his in the second period and West at the end of the first.
Junior 133-pounder Thomas Conselyea posted a 14-5 major decision and senior 157-pounder Wiley Kahler notched an 11-0 major decision of T.J. Martin, a regionally-ranked 149-pounder. Junior Cooper Gilham added a decision at 141.
The Wildcats (8-10 overall) notched wins at 149 and 165 pounds.
The Warriors now have two weeks to prepare for the NCAA Southeast Regional in Keiper Recreation Center, starting on Friday, March 1, at 11 a.m.
