Golf tip of the week: Planes play an essential role in swing

Planes play a crucial role in the golf swing, and one of the most significant ones is the alignment of the left forearm and the shaft with the ball plane on the downswing.

Aligning the left forearm and shaft on the ball plane can generate power and simplify the swing. Some golfers, including the PGA tour player Jim Furyk and Fred Couples.

Both players take the golf club back on an extreme outside path and return to the club on an inside-to-out path on the way down.

Don’t forget to enjoy this great game called golf.
