Lycoming baseball has 4 earn Academic All-District honors

Four members of the Lycoming College baseball team -- junior Evan Mok and sophomores Nick Hoheb, Joel Inman and Zachary Pleska – have each earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.

The quartet are the first group of Lycoming baseball players to earn CSC Academic All-District Team honors, as the team began competition in 2023 after a 52-year hiatus on campus.

Mok, who saw time at second base and shortstop while starting 39 games, hit .217 with 17 runs, nine doubles, two homers and a team-leading 18 RBI. He also stole seven bases.

Hoheb, who appeared in 37 games and started 31 as a catcher, hit .236 with 10 runs, six doubles, a triple and 12 RBI.

Inman appeared in a team-high 20 games as a reliever, tossing 28.2 innings, striking out 18 and walking just four while posting a 3.45 ERA and notching a six-out save against Penn College.

Pleska, who appeared in 34 games and started 30 in right field, finished second on the team with a .270 batting average, posting 11 runs, a team-leading 10 doubles, three triples and 14 RBI.
