By From staff reports 2 min read

A former Lycoming College cheerleader herself, Morgan High is set to serve as the team's advisor, director of athletics Mike Clark announced on Thursday.

"I am excited to work with a really special group of young women who have a love for Lycoming College and the sport of cheerleading, two things that are very close to my heart," High said. "As a former Warrior cheerleader and with my time as an assistant coach, I know all the work that the team puts in to adding to the game-day environment at football and basketball games and I am excited to get started."

As Cheerleading Advisor, High will oversee the team's practices, meetings and games. She also helped maintain the team’s budget and organized team fundraisers.

High is a 2020 graduate of Lycoming College, where she earned a Bachelor's of Arts in Accounting and was a Institute of Management Studies Scholar. A member of the cheerleading team while at Lycoming, she also worked as a volunteer assistant with the cheerleading team for a year after graduating. More recently, she served as an adjunct accounting professor.

A certified public accountant, High earned a Master's of Science in Accounting from Liberty University in 2022.
