Brisbane (Queensland) North Region Little League has been crowned as the 2025 Little League Baseball Australia Region Champion after a win over Ryde Little League, becoming the second team to earn a spot in the 2025 Little League Baseball World Series.

This will be the second trip to South Williamsport for Brisbane North Region LL after winning the Australia Region Championship in 2022, and the third team from Queensland to earn the accolade. This year’s team will be looking to improve on its 2022 run after falling to Europe and Africa in a close elimination-round game.

Brisbane North Region LL opened the tournament in a dominant fashion, emerging as early front-runners with commanding victories of 11-0 and 14-0 over its opponents. After a 9-5 loss to Macarthur LL (Sydney, Australia) on the fourth day of pool play, Brisbane North Region LL came back the next game with a statement 5-0 win over Manly LL (Sydney, Australia) to propel them to the region championship and finish with a 6-1 overall record.

Australia is one of the few nations with an automatic bid into all four Little League Baseball tournaments, receiving its most recent automatic bid in 2018 for the Little League Intermediate (50/70) Baseball Division World Series.

With the first-round matchups of the Series announced on Wednesday, June 11, in coordination with the 66th National Little League Week celebration, Brisbane North Region LL will square off against Panama Region champion Vacamonte Little League (Arraijan, Panama). The two teams will take the field at Volunteer Stadium in Game 3 on Wednesday, August 13, at 5 p.m.

Starting at $2.99/week.
