Muncy defeated Northwest in overtime in girls field hockey in an exciting game, 1-0. Rosie Zalonis scored the game’s only goal. Muncy honored its eight seniors as well in Juliea King, Kyrsa Willis, Angela Placer, Abielle Neidermyer, Sarah Wright, Marlee Gair, Kylie Hartman and Lillian Wheeler. The seniors chose to play for childhood cancer awareness and all proceeds from Monday’s game went towards that cause.

• Sammy Roarty and Olivia Heise both scored goals to lift Milton to a 2-1 win against Williamsport. The Millionaires’ goal came from Noel Veldhuis off a Breah Phillips assist.

Brooke Wilcox scored seven goals and had an assist to lift North Penn-Mansfield to a 10-0 rout over CMVT, the second straight win for the Tigers. Wilcox’s sixth goal was her 50th as she sits at 51 for her career.

Pearle Worthington and Colette Frey scored their first career varsity goals and Avalon Rew recorded her third shutout of the season.

• Montoursville remained unbeaten with a 2-0 win on the road at Bloomsburg in boys soccer. Quinn Winslow scored a goal in each half to help the Warriors move to 12-0-1. CJ Lucas and Simo Deitrich both had assists.

Lewisburg’s Viktor Permyashkin recorded his 50th career goal as Lewisburg improved to 12-0-1 with a 7-0 rout against Milton. Isaac Ayres scored twice and had an assist in the win. Gabe Pawling recorded his 11th shutout of the season and 34th of his career.

Gideon Kennel scored three unanswered goals, including one off a penalty kick, to give Warrior Run a 3-1 victory over South Williamsport in South. The Mounties took an early lead when Trent Rogers scored off a Gavin Freas assist, but the Defenders would take the lead and hold on.

Ori Kennel had an assist for Warrior Run.

• Ava Barto and Analiese Crossen won a thrilling, marathon three-set doubles match, helping Montoursville defeat Bloomsburg, 4-1. Barto and Crossen dropped the first set in a tie-breaker before taking the next set and winning the third set, 11-9. The third set goes to 10 but one has to win by two, so the duo went extra to earn the victory, joining Mya Wilson and Kenna Vought as doubles winners. Elsa Kehrer and Ali Ravert also won singles matches.

Cali Barnes and Madisyn Miller won singles matches and the doubles team of Avelyn Moore and Emily Miller added a victory, helping Montgomery edge South Williamsport, 3-2. Morgan Ertel won at No. 3 singles for South as did the doubles team of Peyton Coolidge and Ava Foote.

Loyalsock earned a 4-1 win over Hughesville thanks to the Lancers securing two three-set victories. At No. 1 singles, Caroline Crawford beat Hughesville’s Georgia Randall, 6-4, 0-6, 6-4. At No. 3 singles, it was the Lancers’ Vivian Reem earning a three-set win by beating Talia Saka, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4.

Hughesville’s win came at No. 1 doubles where Gracie Budman and Caroline Hicks beat Lashlyn Sauers and Kaylene Kriner, 6-2, 6-1.

Central Mountain’s Kassi Williams defeated Lola English in three sets, 6-4, 4-6, 6-3, but Central Mountain came up shy in a close contest with Bucktail, 3-2. Bucktail’s Eva Sockman won at No. 1 singles, 6-2, 6-0 over Lucy Walker and Kendall Waagner of Bucktail won at No. 2 singles, 6-3, 6-4. Central Mountain’s Leah Wian and Tess Akeley won at No. 1 doubles, 6-2, 6-2 over Riley Zalizzoni and Carrie Ditty.

• Lewisburg secured a 3-0 win against Sugar Valley, 25-17, 25-12, 25-20. Claire Chandler had 15 assists with three kills and two acces. Ella Vance had seven digs, six aces and five kills and Brooke Leauber had six aces and three kills. Ellis Reed posted ive kills, Penelope Voneida had four kills, Katie Houtz had five digs and Tainaliz Martinez had six assists.
