Two-time All-Landmark Conference offensive lineman Braedon Hart was named one of 178 semifinalists for the 2025 William V. Campbell Trophy.

Hart is a three-year starter for the Warriors, helping the team accumulate more than 6,500 yards of total offense in the past 24 games, earning second-team All-Landmark Conference honors in 2024 and Honorable Mention All-Landmark Conference accolades in 2023. He also helped the Warriors win the 2023 Cape Charles Bowl.

“One of the most remarkable things I can say about Braedon is that even though he missed the last three games last season, all of which were conference games, he was still voted second team all-conference,” Lycoming head coach Mike Clark said. “He is everything you need in a center – big, physical and smart. A lot of people were excited when Braedon decided to come here because of the career his father, Tim (who was a captain on the 1997 national runner’s up) had here and Braedon has certainly lived up to that legacy.”

This year marks the 67th year of the NFF National Scholar-Athlete Awards Presented by Fidelity Investments, which began in 1959, and the 36th year of the Campbell Trophy, which was added to the program in 1990. The NFF will announce 12-15 finalists on Oct. 23, and each finalist will receive an $18,000 postgraduate scholarship as a member of the 2023 NFF National Scholar-Athlete Class Presented by Fidelity Investments. One of the finalists will be named the winner of the 36th Campbell Trophy® during the 66th NFF Annual Awards Dinner Presented by Las Vegas on Dec. 9 and have his postgraduate scholarship increased to $25,000.

Nominated by their schools, which are limited to one nominee each, candidates for the awards must be a senior or graduate student in their final year of playing eligibility, have a GPA of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale, have outstanding football ability as a first team player or significant contributor and have demonstrated strong leadership and citizenship. The class is selected each year by the NFF Awards Committee, which is comprised of a nationally recognized group of media, College Football Hall of Famers and athletics administrators.
