Oliver’s 298 earns him Landmark Offensive Player of the Week nod

After setting a quartet of Landmark Conference records in Saturday, Sept. 20’s game against Dickinson, Lycoming College junior Terrence Oliver earned the Landmark Conference’s Offensive Football Athlete of the Week award.

Oliver rushed for a Landmark Conference-record 298 yards on just 22 carries and totaled a conference-record 334 all-purpose yards in the game. He became the Landmark’s all-time rushing leader with 2,295 career yards, breaking the record with his fourth of the 298 yards, and he scored three touchdowns on runs of 73 and 89 yards (also a Landmark record) and a three-yard reception.

The junior is fifth in Division III, averaging 8.92 yards per carry, seventh with 178.3 rushing yards per game, 12th with 189.67 all-purpose yards per game and 15th with 12.0 points per game, all marks that lead the Landmark Conference. He is also second in the Landmark and 12th in Division III with five rushing touchdowns.

A two-time Second Team All-Landmark Conference selection, this is Oliver’s first weekly plaudits and the first time a Warrior won an offensive athlete of the week award since Quasim Benson earned the Landmark award on Oct. 30, 2023. He is the first Warrior to earn an athlete of the week award since sophomore Khalil Johnson earned the defensive athlete of the week award on Nov. 5, 2024.

The Warriors are back on the field at noon on Saturday when they host Rowan University, at David Person Field at Girardi Stadium.

Starting at $2.99/week.
