Bison travel to Cornell in a non-conference showdown

Bucknell will head back on the road this week as it travels to Ithaca, N.Y. to take on the Cornell Big Red in a non-conference match-up. Cornell also won last season’s contest over Bucknell 34-21. The Bison enter the game 4-3 (1-2 PL) after a loss to Lafayette in Easton and Cornell comes in 0-4 (0-2 Ivy) after a loss to No. 22 Harvard.

In the Bison’s last time out, Bucknell made a solid third quarter effort to come back from a 48-10 deficit including a Luke Freeman blocked punt that Sam Milligan returned for a touchdown, but it wouldn’t be enough as Lafayette would maintain and extend its lead and take a 62-24 victory over the Bison. Quarterback Chris Dietrich saw his first start as a Bison, as Ralph Rucker IV was sidelined due to an injury. Dietrich went 19-of-32 for 224 yards and two touchdowns. TJ Cadden led the Bison in receiving with five catches for 108 yards.

Starting at $2.99/week.
