Sophomore Joe Lyons III finished 21 of 27 for 280 yards and two touchdowns passing and he also ran for a score to pace Lycoming (2-5 overall, 2-1 Landmark). Oliver rushed 22 times for 132 yards and a score, as he became the seventh Warrior in program history to reach 25 career touchdowns.

The Warriors scored on their first three drives to take a 21-11 lead. After a WestConn field goal, the Warriors drove 54 yards in eight plays, with Kline getting to the one-yard line with a 14-yard catch and senior Michael VanHorn took it from there with a sneak into the end zone.
The Wolves got two more field goals to close within 21-17, but the Warriors got the ball at their own 44 with 71 seconds left before halftime and Oliver took a pass at the 50 and rambled 43 yards downfield to get the ball to the seven. Three plays later, Lyons found Clark for a score to make it 28-17 at the break.
In the third quarter, WestConn took its opening drive to the 17 before setting up for a field goal that Stokes blocked and Pentz picked up at the 25 and ran back for the touchdown. On Lycoming’s next drive, Lyons found Kline for a 42-yard completion to get the ball to the WestConn 25 before he connected with Debebe for a score from nine yards out to make it 42-17.
WestConn had a pair of drives get deep into Lycoming territory in the fourth quarter, but sophomore Khalil Johnson and sophomore Nasir Shakur stopped one with a tackle for loss on fourth and goal from the five and Samony’s interception at the two-yard line stopped the next drive. Finally, WestConn scored on a seven-play, 64-yard drive with 1:08 left.
