Bucktail’s Sockman earns Mid-Penn MVP honors

Mylee Morrison of South Williamsport was named a Mid-Penn all-star for girls tennis, earning No. 2 singles honors.

The Mid-Penn girls tennis all-star team was released and the area was well represented as Bucktail’s Eva Sockman secured Mid-Penn Most Valuable Player.
Bucktail’s Alison Heiser was named Coach of the Year as the Bucks were league champions (6-0).
Earning Mid-Penn honors for the singles team were Sockman (No. 1, 6-0), South Williamsport’s Mylee Morrison (No. 2, 5-1) and Bucktail’s Lola English (No. 3, 5-1). On the doubles team were Bucktail’s McKenna Bissman and Kelsie Wagner at No. 1 doubles (6-)) and Montgomery’s Avelyn Moore and Emily Miller at No. 2 doubles (6-0).
