Lycoming’s Fisher’s career day paces first win of season at Valley Forge in women’s hoops
PHOENIXVILLE — Senior Allison Fisher poured in a career-high 22 points as the Lycoming College women’s basketball team rebounded from a flat tire on the road to the University of Valley Forge to cruise to an 83-36 win in a non-conference matchup at the University of Valley Forge Gymnasium on Saturday.
Lycoming (1-1) earned their first win of the campaign, vanquishing Valley Forge (0-4) by shooting 56.3% (36 for 64) from the field and holding Valley Forge to just a 22% clip (9 for 41) from the floor while forcing 35 turnovers. The 47-point win was the largest for the Warriors since February 11, 2023.

It was more of the same in the second period as the Warriors outscored the Patriots 21-9 in the quarter, building a 49-15 lead at the break.
Fisher reached the 20-point barrier for the first time in her career, going 9-for-12 from the field and 3-for-5 from three-point range, also grabbing a team-high nine rebounds in just 19 minutes on the floor. Abdo was the only other Warrior in double figures, finishing with 12 points, including a pair of three-point makes, a team-best six assists, and three steals.
