NP-Mansfield’s Wilcox earns one of NTL’s top honors

North Penn-Mansfield’s Brooke Wilcox scored more than 30 goals this season, breaking the school record for single-season goals scored and career goals scored. That offensive prowess helped earn her Northern Tier League Offensive Player of the Year and first-team honors as a forward this year.

She was one of numerous area athletes to earn NTL honors in girls soccer. The NTL boys soccer all-star team has not yet been made available.

Wellsboro’s Jadyn Dunlap, a keeper, earned NTL Defensive Player of the Year honors while the NTL Overall Player of the Year was Troy’s Alexis McRoberts.

Wilcox was joined on the first team by Troy’s McRoberts and Giana Renzi, and Wyalusing’s Vayda Rought.

Troy’s Sadyi Renzo, Williamson’s Anna Lee, Athens’ Delani Patton and Wyalusing’s Addisyn Bly were named first-team midfielders.

Earning first-team defender honors were Troy’s Jaylee Ward, Williamson’s Starr Ordway, Athens’ Brinley Nichols and Wellsboro’s Caelyn Reese. Dunlap was named a first-team goalie.
