PCT’s Davis, Martin win titles at Ithaca Invitational
ITHACA, N.Y. — TJ Martin and Carter Davis claimed individual championships, and the Wildcats scored 103 points and placed third in a nine-team field at the Ithaca College Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
Martin, at 149 pounds, and Davis, at 165, both brought home gold with Martin going 5-0 and Davis 4-0. Also, Nicholai Brotzman (2-2) was fourth at 285, placing fifth were Blake Dergham (3-2) at 133, David M’Balla (5-2) at 149 and Jason Petroski (5-2) at 174, and taking sixth was Kaden Ware (3-3) at 141.
Host Ithaca won team honors with 198.5 points, and was followed by Castleton 161, Penn College, Springfield 98, Norwich 87, SUNY Oswego 84, Cortland 41.5, Greensboro 32.5 and Elmira College 25.
Penn College competes at the Shenandoah Invitational at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
