CHRIS MANNING/Sun-Gazette Correspondent Williamsport’s Isabelle Sanders competes in the PIAA Class AAA cross country championships.

The PHAC released its all-star teams for both boys and girls cross country.

Williamsport’s Isabelle Sanders and Warrior Run’s Claire Dufrene earned the top girls honor as being named PHAC Runner of the Year for HAC-i and HAC-II, respectively. Sanders was one of four area girls to earn HAC-I first-team honors. Williamsport’s Madeline Sanders and Clara Wade were first-team all-stars as was Milton’s Claire Dick.

Earning second-team honors from the area included Central Mountain’s Aubrey Eiler and Grace Keohane, Williamsport’s Johanna Pelly and Milton’s Brianna Holovich.

Central Mountain’s Kaylie McCloskey, Abigail Winslow and Emma Wolfe were all named honorable mention PHAC all-stars. Williamsport’s Faith hale and Lola Kastner were honorable mention all-star selections and Milton’s Charlotte Gessner and Mali Prutzman earned honorable mention honors.

On the HAC-II all-star team, Lewisburg’s Michael Espinosa earned Coach of the Year honors.

Hughesville’s Vivian Draper, Grace Fortin, Evey Meckbach and Emelia Wolfe were named HAC-II first-team runners as was Lewisburg’s Baylee Espinosa, Serena Anmuth, Annika Ikeda Shields and Theo Wilkinson. Loyalsock’s Hazel Zajack was a first-team all-star.

Earning second-team nods from the area included Lewisburg’s Ella Beal, Claire Graver and Loghan Klinger; Hughesville’s Laura Ochs and Sophia Poust; Warrior Run’s Brenna Pick and Kiera Shaffer; and Montoursville’s Elizabeth Wanner.

Loyalsock’s Caroline Baker and Montoursville’s Madison Gardner both were named honorable mention all-star selections.
