The Lewisburg High School Alumni Association, in conjunction with the Lewisburg Area School District, announced the formation of an Athletic and Fine Arts Hall of Fame.

The goal of this Hall of Fame is to recognize and honor Lewisburg graduates who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in athletics or the fine arts, as an individual or a team, while attending school or as a postgraduate. Additionally, coaches, directors and community members may also be nominated and do not need to be Lewisburg graduates.

The Lewisburg Alumni Board will be selecting the Hall of Fame winners from the nominations that are submitted.

A nomination form is available on Lewisburg’s alumni website and the inaugural class’s nominations will be accepted until Feb. 28.

Once the Hall of Fame committee receives the nomination, each candidate is sent a form to complete with requests for biographical information. The information is then shared with the Board of Directors for their vote. Each candidate is notified of the results of the vote. The candidates not selected for the current year will be considered for the award for the next 10 years.
