Maddie Smith scored 22 points to help Hughesville’s girls basketball team secure a 58-30 win against Lewisburg. Kendall Hamm added 12 for the Spartans while Casey Schultz scored eight.

Lewisburg was led by Ava Matto and Addy Shedleski, who both scored seven, while Addy Barner added 10 rebounds.

Montoursville lost at home to Bloomsburg, 47-29. Montoursville was held to single digits each of the first two quarters and trailed 25-11 at the half. Kayleigh Sheleman scored 11 and Emily George added 10. Sheleman nearly had a double-double as she led Montoursville with seven rebounds.

Ella Moore scored 17 points — 12 of which came in the second half — en route to South Williamsport’s 44-33 win against Northumberland Christian on the road. Abigail Holbrook added 11 points for the Mounties.

Northumberland Christian was led by Emma Connor’s 15 points.
