The Lycoming College women’s swimming team was named a Scholar All-American team for the fall semester by the Collegiate Swimming Coaches Association of America, as announced by the organization on Wednesday.

The team has been a frequent honoree, earning their 22nd All-America selection in the last 24 semesters, dating back to the spring of 2014. During the fall semester, the squad excelled in the classroom, earning a 3.34 GPA as a team.

CSCAA Scholar All-American members must achieve a team minimum 3.0 grade point average to be considered for the respective teams, which are released for the fall and spring semesters.

The team will be back in action for their final regular season meet on Saturday, Jan. 31, with a double-dual meet with Moravian and Susquehanna. The festivities will begin at Moravian University at 1 p.m.
