Warriors receiving votes in D3baseball.com poll

After a historic season in which the Lycoming College baseball team broke the school record for wins and reached the Landmark Conference tournament for the first time, the program crossed another milestone by receiving votes in the D3baseball.com/NCBWA Preseason Top 25 poll, the first time the program has earned votes in the poll.

The Warriors picked up a total of five points in the poll, placing them in an unofficial tie for 44th in the poll out of more than 380 Division III baseball programs. Defending D3 national champion Wisconsin-Whitewater was selected No. 1, while Lycoming joined Elizabethtown (tied for 37th with nine votes) as the only Landmark Conference schools to earn votes in the poll.

Lycoming finished the 2025 campaign at 21-21, earning a fifth-place finish in the Landmark in the regular season and a spot in the conference tournament for the first time in program history.

Seven Warriors landed seven players on the All-Landmark Conference team, with six of them set to return: senior pitcher Joel Inman, senior utility player A.J. Llorente, senior third baseman Brody Lindsey, junior pitcher Grayson Rinker, and junior designated hitter Eric MacCluen. In all, seven starting position players return along with five starting pitchers and three relievers that threw at least 10.0 innings.

Llorente also joined Danny DeLucas as the first players in program history to earn All-Region honors, with Llorente being honored on D3baseball.com’s second team in Region 5.

Lycoming begins its season on Friday, Feb. 13, when it opens a three-game series against Guilford College in Greensboro, N.C.

Starting at $2.99/week.
