Markus Budda used a 300 game to build an 837 series in the Thursday Night Bowling League last week, to wrestle male bowler of the week honors away from Michael Marino who fired an 812 in the Mighty 8 League. Female bowler of the week was Danielle Barlet who posted a 696 in the Thursday Night Bowling League. In that same league, Brad Pepperman rolled a perfect game, while Alicia Edkin's 258 in the Intercommunity League was high game of the week for the ladies.

In 1939, 2000 Hall of Fame inductee Mary Troisi was born in Williamsport. Troisi was a member of the local Women's Association Board of Directors for 18 years, serving on the auditing, tournament and nominating committees, as well as being secretary of the Hall of Fame committee for 10 years. She was a delegate to the State Women's Convention seven times. She started bowling in 1961 and settled into the Late Show League at Faxon, where she was treasurer from 1967-77 and president from 1983-89. Her career-high average was 125 and her career-high game was 213.
