Lycoming women close out year with loss to Elizabethtown at Lamade
Sophomore Jocelyn McCracken, a Jersey Shore graduate, tallied 15 points and senior Allison Fisher netted 13 in her final game as the Lycoming College women’s basketball team closed the 2025-26 campaign with a 67-52 Landmark Conference setback to Elizabethtown College on Saturday at Lamade Gym.
Elizabethtown (18-7, 14-4) led 16-8 after a quarter and took an eight-point lead into the locker room at halftime. However, after falling behind by 12 early in the second half, Lycoming (8-17, 4-14) answered with a 14-4 run to close the gap to 40-38 on a three-pointer from senior Kami Abdo with 5:51 left in the third.
Lycoming again closed to within a bucket on McCracken’s layup with 2:10 left in the quarter that made it 45-43, but the Warriors never got the equalizer.
McCracken led the Warriors with 15 points and nine rebounds, while Fisher finished with 13 points, six rebounds, and three steals and junior Ann-Marie McMurtrie notched eight points, nine rebounds, and three blocks. Abdo added seven points and senior Katie Bena scored five points in their final games.
The Warriors close out their second season under coach Shane Rottier with a four-win improvement from 2024-25.
