Bucknell (5-10, 1-0 PL) led 6-2 headed to the eighth before a two-run homer by Lafayette’s (1-11, 0-1 PL) Jack Mislan made it a two-run ballgame. The Bison got the two runs back in the bottom of the eighth to restore the four-run lead. Brandon Doubek led off the ninth with another home run, but Tyler Seidman worked two strikeouts and a fly ball to close out the win.
Just a week after Adelmann pitched a career high seven innings with a personal-best eighth strikeouts, the junior right-hander struck out 10 batters in seven innings on the mound. The Leopards had timely hitting as they plated two runs off of three hits on Adelmann.
