Williamsport used dominant pitching and explosive hitting to start its season in near perfect fashion Monday at Millionaire Mountain. Cole Deitrick, James Naughton and Trey Damschroder combined on a five-inning no-hitter and three players smashed four home runs as Williamsport routed Selinsgrove, 11-0. Deshaun White went 3 for 3 with two home runs, three RBIs and three runs, while Zane Rogers and Deitrick also homered.

Rogers doubled as well and was 2 for 3 with two RBIs. Lucas Naughton shined in his first action in two years, going 2 for 2 with a double and three runs. Giovanni White also belted a triple. Deitrick threw three perfect innings and James Naughton and Damschroder took it from there, the trio combining for six strikeouts.

• Dani Miller turned Southern Columbia into her own personal launching pad, blasting three home runs and a double, while going 4 for 5 with six RBIs as Jersey Shore won its opener, 13-1. Miller also scored four times. Lynna Clark went 3 for 3 with a double and three runs, also pitching a two-hit gem and striking out 12. Lexi Frey added three hits and two RBIs and Annika Clark tripled.

The Bulldogs scored multiple runs in five of their seven at-bats.
