Marc Molina ripped a go-ahead RBI single in the top of the eighth inning and Kamdyn Bubb stifled Hanover in the bottom half as South Williamsport won a 2-1 thriller against Hanover. Bubb and starter Andrew Walter both pitched four strong innings, walking none and repeatedly working out of jams. Bubb fanned four in four innings and Walter threw four scoreless innings. Molina also produced a first-inning RBI with a sacrifice fly and was one of nine Mounties who combined for 11 hits. Bubb and Jaymes Carpenter collected two each.

Graden Dohl smashed a two-run home run and Kynton Fish and Brody Goss each had two hits in Muncy’s 15-5, six-inning loss against Bloomsburg. Corbyn Gardner added a double. Bloomsburg started the game with 10 runs in the top of the first inning before Muncy scored four times in the bottom half.

Ayren Morgan, Hunter Simonds and Levi Stahli combined on a three-hitter and Cowanesque Valley remained undefeated, downing North Penn-Mansfield, 4-1. Morgan became the sixth different pitcher to earn a win for the Indians (6-0) and also was 2 for 2 with two runs. Hess and William Kies drove in runs and Danny Smith doubled. Three players had hits for North Penn-Mansfield.

–Montoursville’s tennis team made quick work of Shikellamy, winning all five matches in straight sets. Teli Bobotas, Gio Catrino and Colby Ulmer all won without allowing their opponent to win more than two games in a set. The Doubles teams of Cole Snyder and Rain Snyder and Cullen Pauling and Mason Fry won their matches, while dropping just three combined games.

Bryce Eckard and Alex Puzio won a second set tiebreaker to take a straight-set doubles match, highlighting Muncy’s 4-1 win at North Penn-Liberty. Michael Howard, Clynt Oden and Alec Noviello all won straight set singles matches in convincing fashion. North Penn-Liberty’s doubles team of Andre Reed and Toby Noll won a hard-fought three-set match, rallying after dropping the first set and winning the final one, 10-7.

Both of South Williamsport’s doubles teams took their opponents three sets in a 5-0 loss against Central Columbia. Levi Jackson and David Miller took the first set, 7-5 in No. 1 doubles before dropping the third set in a super tiebreaker. Cameron Stahl and Nate Miller took the second set of their match, 6-2 to force a third set.
