The District 4 team tennis tournament will get underway on Tuesday with a handful of preliminary matches.

That includes South Williamsport, who will host Selinsgrove at 4 p.m. in a play-in match. Jersey Shore has the top seed in the tournament and the Bulldogs will host the winner of the Selinsgrove/South Williamsport match. That match is scheduled for Thursday, at 4 p.m..

In the other preliminary match, tenth-seeded Galeton will travel to seventh-seeded Loyalscok for a 4 p.m. matchup. The winner of that match advances to play second-seeded Danville on Thursday at 4 0p.m.

Fifth-seeded Wellsboro will travel to fourth-seeded Lewisburg on Thursday at 4 p.m. The other quarterfinal matchup features sixth-seeded Montoursville at third-seeded Central Columbia for a 4 p.m. matchup.

The semifinals and championship match will be played at a site and date to be determined.
