Sobieski’s final knock of the night also gave her 100 hits for her career, capping off a day in which Lycoming (7-13, 3-5 Landmark) pounded out 19 hits in the doubleheader, including 10 in game two, off Susquehanna (8-17, 2-4 Landmark) pitching.
In the opener, Susquehanna took advantage of two Lycoming errors to score three unearned runs in the opening frame, highlighted by a two-run triple from Stevie Shaak. In the second, the River Hawks added to the lead, scoring two more runs on RBI singles from Maddy Devine and Shaak.

In the third, the Warriors began the inning with a single for senior Kristen George, a Montoursville graduate, and a walk to Alexander. After a sacrifice bunt, Rodarmel brought home George with a groundout. Sobieski followed with her second RBI hit, a two-out single to right, to drive in Alexander for a 3-0 advantage. Lycoming extended the margin to 4-0 in fifth when the Warriors loaded the bases with one out ahead of an RBI from McAnelly.
