Sock grad Rodarmel earns NFCA All-Region accolades

After leading the Landmark Conference in batting average and finishing in the top five in slugging and on-base percentage, Lycoming College senior outfielder Mallory Rodarmel, a Loyalsock graduate, earned a slot on the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Region V third team, the organization announced.

Rodarmel was limited to just 15 games due to injuries, but still slashed .457/.460/.587 with 21 hits, three doubles, a home run, 12 RBI, 10 runs scored, and eight stolen bases, leading the Landmark Conference in batting average and finishing third in slugging and fourth in on-base percentage.

She also did not strike out in 50 plate appearances and her home run was the difference in a 2-0 win over Drew.

The three-year starter in the outfield finished her time at Lycoming by batting .295 with 78 hits, 38 runs, three home runs, and 41 RBIs in her career.

Rodarmel is the second Lycoming player to earn all-region honors as an outfielder and is the fifth all-region pick in head coach Melissa Montoro’s 13 years at the helm, joining Kayla Kline (2019, shortstop, third), Kylie Russell (2023, pitcher, second), Morgan Wetzel (2023, outfield, second) and Avery Eiswerth (2024, utility, third).

Lycoming finished the season 10-20 and 5-9 in the Landmark.

Starting at $2.99/week.
