LOCK HAVEN — Tyler Serb of the Lock Haven baseball team was named to the College Sports Communication Academic All-District Team.

In order to be eligible to earn CSC Academic All-District recognition, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and have a cumulative GPA above 3.50.

Position players must have competed in 90% of their institution’s total games or started in at least 66 percent of the institution’s total games. For pitchers, eligible nominees needed to have pitched at least 25 innings or appeared in 17 games.

Serb was honored for his excellence in the classroom and on the field.

The 2026 Academic All-District® Baseball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
