In celebration of the 67th National Little League Week, Little League International announced the first-round pairings for the 2026 Little League World Series.

The opening ceremonies will begin on Wednesday, Aug. 19, and feature all 20 teams competing through both the United States and International brackets.

This year’s Little League World Series runs from Wednesday, Aug. 19 through Sunday, Aug. 30.

On Wednesday, Aug. 19, the Series begins with the Latin America Regional champion against the Caribbean at Volunteer Stadium at 1p.m. The Southeast Regional champion will face the Northwest Regional champion at Lamade Stadium at 3 p.m. At 5 p.m. at Volunteer Stadium, Canada will play the Asia-Pacific Regional champion and at 7 p.m. at Lamade Stadium, the Metro Regional champion will face the New England Regional champion.

On Thursday, Aug. 20, the slate of games will feature Australia vs. Mexico at noon at Volunteer Stadium; the Great Lakes Regional champion plays the Mountain Regional champion at Lamade Stadium at 2 p.m.; Curacao will face Japan at Volunteer Stadium at 4 p.m. and the West Regional champion will face the Midwest Regional champion at Lamade Stadium at 6 p.m.

On Friday, Aug. 21, Panama will face the Latin America/Caribbean winner at Volunteer Stadium at 1 p.m., the Southwest Regional champion will face the Southeast/Northwest winner at Lamade Stadium at 3 p.m.; the Europe and Africa Regional champion will face the Canada/Asia-Pacific winner at Volunteer Stadium at 5 p.m.; and the Mid-Atlantic Regional champion will face the Metro/New England winner at Lamade Stadium at 7 p.m.

The random drawings were held so that regions who competed in the first play-in games in 2025 would not be featured in those matchups for this year.

The annual Grand Slam Parade through downtown Williamsport is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 18. The MLB Little League Classic will be played on Sunday, Aug. 23 at Bowman Field between the Milwaukee Brewers at Atlanta Braves.
