Six Lycoming College student-athletes were honored as part of the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Women’s At-Large Team, four from the women’s lacrosse team and two from the field hockey team, the organization announced on Tuesday.

The women’s lacrosse team’s honorees are: senior Autumn Shahan, who earned the award for a third time; junior Sarah Spring, who earned the award for a second time; senior Anna Glantz (and junior Mychaela McDowell, both first-time honorees.

The field hockey team’s honorees are: junior Loghan Shelly, a two-time honoree, and sophomore Lacy Eckard.

The 2025 Academic All-District Women’s At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. In field hockey and lacrosse, eligible student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically, carry at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average and have competed in 90% of the Team’s total games played or have started 66% of the team’s total games.

Shahan started all 16 games for the women’s lacrosse team, finishing third on the team with 30 ground balls and 21 draw controls.

Spring started all 16 games, finishing fifth on the Warriors with five goals and tied for third with seven assists, while also posting 13 ground balls and causing nine turnovers.

Glantz started 12 games and appeared in 14 as a defender and McDowell appeared in all 16 games as an attacker, posting two goals and two assists.

Shelly started 17 of the field hockey team’s 18 games.

Eckard started all 18 games for the field hockey team, leading the team with six assists and finishing second on the squad with six goals and 18 points. She added goals in conference play against Catholic, Goucher and Susquehanna.
