When Tevin Williams left Shippensburg this year, the Millionaire had a silver medal and bronze medal draped around his neck in Class AAA competition at the PIAA track and field championships. Williams dominated this year, claiming two state medals and three gold medals in district competition and those three gold medals are the same events he claimed first-team HAC-I accolades in.
Williams was the Millionaires’ lone athlete to earn three first-team HAC-I honors in boys track and field as coach Jeremy Steppe and the Millionaires’ coaches were named Coaching Staff of the Year.
Williams was a HAC-I first-team all-star in the 400 (an event he took third at states), the long jump (an event he took second at states) and the high jump. Williamsport’s Kye Diakite (110 hurdles) and Brysen Thornton (3,200) were also first-team HAC-I all-stars for the Millionaires.
Williamsport’s 1,600 and 3,200 relay teams garnered first-team honors as well.
Williamsport’s Diakite was a second-team all-star in the 300 hurdles, Thornton earned second-team honors in the 1,600 and Williamsport’s Conner Hofstrom was a second-team all-star in the 800. Williamsport’s Alex Takach claimed two second-team accolades, doing so in both the 100 and 200.
