LHU women’s lacrosse lands seven on IWLCA honor roll

LOCK HAVEN – Seven members of the Lock Haven lacrosse team were named to the 2026 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-Academic Honor Roll, while the Bald Eagles also earned the organization's Academic Squad for their accomplishments on the field and in the classroom.

The IWLCA has named 357 schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA as IWLCA Academic Honor Squads for the 2025-26 academic year. To qualify for this prestigious honor, the women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year.

As a unit, the Bald Eagles accumulated a 3.48 GPA.

The IWLCA also honored 568 studexnt-athletes from 65 different institutions on the 2025-26 IWLCA Division II Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.

Lexi Bunk, Gabby Gunnip, Sam Hauck, Peyton Masters, Sarah Osmun, Maddy Raspen and Ally Weaver were also honored by the IWLCA on Wednesday (July 22) as members of the 2026 Academic Honor Roll.

The Bald Eagles improved their total number of honored athletes to seven from six in 2025.
