SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT - Los Nacionales Little League (Santiago, Dominican Republic) will officially
represent the Caribbean Region at the 2026 Little League Baseball World Series (LLBWS) after emerging victorious over Aruba North Little League 5-3 in the Caribbean Region Tournament championship game.
Los Nacionales Little League finished the Region Tournament with a 7-1 overall record in the event, marking the league's first ever trip to Williamsport and the 10th overall for the Dominican Republic dating back to 1978. During the country's last trip in 2017, Los Bravos de Pontezuela Little League finished 1-2. While never taking home the LLBWS Championship Banner, the Dominican Republic did finish as the runner-up at the 1983 LLBWS.
Los Nacionales Little League Little League will begin in the 2026 LLBWS on Wednesday, August 19, at 1 p.m. ET against the Latin American Region, on ESPN.
