West Seoul LL of Seoul, South Korea secures LLWS trip

The fourth ticket to the 2026 Little League World Series has officially been clinched as West Seoul (B) Little League of Seoul, South Korea, emerged victorious in the Asia-Pacific Region Tournament.
This year marks the second time a team from West Seoul Little League has earned a spot in the international tournament after an appearance in 2017.
Throughout the tournament, West Seoul (B) Little League earned its crown with a 6-0 overall record to clinch its spot after beating Hung-Yeh Little League (Taitung County, Chinese Taipei) 3-1 in the championship game to claim the region title. This win marks the eighth time a team from South Korea will make the trip to South Williamsport, it’s first appearance dating back to 1984 and last trip coming in 2019.
The country’s seven previous appearances at the Little League World Series, dating back to 1984, includes two runner-up finishes and three championship wins in 1984, 1985 and 2014.
West Seoul Little League will open the 2026 Series on Wednesday, Aug. 19, at 5 p.m. against the winners of the Canada Region at Volunteer Stadium.
This year’s Little League World Series, the 79th in Series history, will take place from Aug. 19-30.
