Lycoming women’s volleyball selected eighth in poll

The Lycoming College volleyball team was picked to finish eighth in the Landmark Conference preseason coaches poll. Sixteen-time defending conference champion Juniata was again the unanimous pick at the top spot, garnering 81 points and nine first place votes.

The Warriors enter a new era under first-year coach Hannah Lingold, who takes the helm after longtime coach Tim McMahon retired after 25 seasons and 354 victories. Lycoming brings back all but one player from the 2025 squad, including a half-dozen seniors. The Warriors finished second in the Landmark with a .145 opponents hitting percentage in 2025, when they posted a 13-14 record and a 2-7 mark in Landmark play.
