While the dirt racing world was focused on the Knoxville Nationals and Kyle Larson, the PA Posse had a couple races here at home. Selinsgrove Speedway saw Troy Wagaman Jr. get around Justin Whittall and never looked back to claim the win on Friday night in the Joe Whitcomb Memorial.

Logan Wagner was second followed by Whittall, Freddie Rahmer and Lucas Wolfe

In the Wingless Super Sportsman race it was Tony Jackson, Steve Wilbur, Brett Perigo, Marty Brian and Scott Smith. The 358 sprints were won by Austin Reed, Andy Best, Chase Gutshell, Brock Hammaker and Bryn Gohn

Then it was over to Clinton County on Saturday night where Whittall claimed the fifth annual Phil Walter Classic. Josh Frantz of Reynoldsville won the four cylinders while AJ Hoffman won both of the pro stock feature events.

In other action Hidden Valley Speedway swung back into action Friday night after a week off for rain, with Collin Mills taking home the $2,500 top prize while Austin Fenton of Clearfield earned his first career win in the pure stock main. The legend car feature was won by Jeremy Ott while Derek Cameron won the ATV feature.

Other winners included BJ Hudson of Clearfield in the semi lates, Craig Casher in the small block modifieds and Fuzzy Fields in the Penn-Ohio pro stocks.

Coming up this weekend, Williams Grove Speedway will honor one of the finest showman and promoters on Friday night when "Tires" on Netflix presents the Jack Gunn Memorial for 410 sprint cars.

First run in 1983, the Gunn Memorial honors late Williams Grove promoter Jack Gunn. The 2026 event will be the 44th annual Gunn Memorial and the winner's list is impressive to say the least. Bobby Allen was the first winner in 1983 with additional names on the win list like Frankie Kerr, Jason Johnson, Lance Dewease, Greg Hodnett, Fred Rahmer and Daryn Pittman.
