Williamsport graduate Joe Fagnano was impressive throughout the preseason for the Baltimore Ravens and made an impact. He threw for 509 yards in the preseason on 56 completions and completed 75% of his passes with just one interception.

On Sunday, Fagnano made the Ravens' initial 53-man roster, as reported by a number of sources including Sports Illustrated and Yahoo. According to Sports Illustrated, Ravens' general manager Eric DeCosta did not want to risk losing Fagnano by making him a member of the practice squad and keeping Fagnano was a priority.

"He's put it out there. He's been really consistent. he's played a certain way almost all three games, and that's definitely something we'll have to take a look at," Baltimore Ravens coach Jesse Minter told Sports Illustrated after the team's preseason finale.

"My goal coming in was just to make the most of my opportunities. What I can control is what I wanted to control; the stuff that's out of my hands is out of my hands," Fagnano said to Sports Illustrated. "I think I've done a nice job to put myself in a good position."

The Ravens open the 2026 schedule with a game at Indianapolis against the Colts on Sunday, Sept. 13.
